Obama Rumors, Myths and Smears

Before Obama’s Senatorial bid fully materialized, he was in preliminary talks with Paramount Pictures to appear in a modern day remake of the John Travolta classic, Urban Cowboy.

Where do we begin? First of all, Senator Obama was completely devoted to his political career before officially running for Senate. He did not seek or even field offers to appear in any film projects prior to 2006. Secondly, Mr. Obama strongly felt that the Bud character needed more depth. And lastly, Mr. Obama did have serious reservations regarding the casting of Halle Berry as Sissy.

Back on July 12, 1979 a young, drugged-induced Obama participated in Disco Demolition Night at Comiskey Park in Chicago. In between a White Sox doubleheader, a troubled Obama led an angry mob of young people onto the field, demolishing thousands of disco records.

This is perhaps one of the most outrageous lies circulating on the internet today. Senator Obama emphatically denies any wrongdoing. Yes, it is true that Senator Obama was at the infamous event, however he was actually trying to rescue the disco albums from being destroyed. Mr. Obama was and always will be a stanch supporter of KC and the Sunshine Band, and will do almost anything to preserve the integrity of their timeless music. Much like baseball great Rick Monday saved the American flag from being burned during an on-the-field protest, Barack Obama also saved an American treasure – Shake Your Booty.

Sources close to the Senator have acknowledged that Obama has quite the addiction to online poker. There are even whispers that Obama has “borrowed” some of his vast campaign contributions to fund his compulsive gambling.

There is no question that Senator Obama enjoys playing cards online. However, the idea that Mr. Obama is obsessed with poker is preposterous. Anyone that is close to the Senator knows that his game of choice is Crazy Eights. In addition, anyone that has contributed to the Obama campaign understands that a portion of his or her donation might be used as “seed money”.
