Obama Rumors, Myths and Smears

In a blatant display of overconfidence, Barack Obama reportedly consulted with an interior designer about making some custom alterations to the White House interior, so he and his family could feel more at home.

Total fabrication (pardon the pun). While it is not unusual for newly elected Presidents to make design changes to fit their unique style and taste, Senator Obama is 100% focused on the election – nothing else. However, Barack does strongly believe; the Lincoln Bedroom is somewhat drab, the Roosevelt Room is lacking gravitas and that the Oval Office is severely outdated.

As a way to bolster his image globally, Obama’s people have contacted Beijing officials to inquire about the possibility of having Obama somehow incorporated within the Olympic opening ceremony.

Nice try, but unfortunately this item is indeed false. While Senator Obama is quickly becoming one of the world’s most respected icons, he does not have any interest in participating in the opening ceremony. Instead, Senator Obama has reached a tentative agreement to present the gold metal to the Women's gymnastics winner.

UPDATE – Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton has just confirmed that Senator Obama will also play a key role in the Pre-Game analysis with Bob Costas, a minor appearance during the Men’s 3000m steeplechase and a brief cameo during the Closing Ceremony with his wife Michelle.

Before Obama’s Senatorial bid fully materialized, he was in preliminary talks with Paramount Pictures to appear in a modern day remake of the John Travolta classic, Urban Cowboy.

Where do we begin? First of all, Senator Obama was completely devoted to his political career before officially running for Senate. He did not seek or even field offers to appear in any film projects prior to 2006. Secondly, Mr. Obama strongly felt that the Bud character needed more depth. And lastly, Mr. Obama did have serious reservations regarding the casting of Halle Berry as Sissy.
